Financial Assistance
The Washington State legislature passed House Bill 1660 with the goal of eliminating costs and barriers to student participation in extracurricular activities.

Your student can have CKMS extracurricular fees waived if they are currently enrolled in these programs:
- College Bound Scholarship Program
- Free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program
If your student is already enrolled in one or both of these programs, fill out the online form below to give parent/guardian consent to have extracurricular fees waived in the programs you select.
Do you believe you are eligible but are not yet enrolled in these programs? Enroll and qualify in the programs below first. Then complete this Financial Assistance Release form to have your extracurricular fees waived.
What student fees will be waived?
- ASB card
- Sports/Athletic Fees
- Dances
- Competitions, clinics and conferences
- Plays
- Home games
- Uniforms, if applicable
- ASB field trips
- Club Fees/Dues
After this online form is completed, your student's eligibility in the above qualifying programs will be verified and then, future extracurricular fees in the current school year, will be waived. (Fees paid previously, before submitting the form, cannot be refunded) No other information will be shared and your student's fee status is confidential.
