Athletic Program Overview

How to sign up for sports:   ONLINE REGISTRATION is required and opens a few weeks before each sports season begins.  All students must be registered online before they can attend practice.

Physical: All students MUST have a current PHYSICAL FORM on file before attending practice. No student may practice or compete without a current physical. There are no exceptions.

  • Physicals last two years and must not expire during the season a student is participating in.
  • Note:  Sixth graders must provide a sports physical dated Jan. 1 or later in the same calendar year they enter sixth grade.
  • When you register online you will need to upload your physical form. If your student has not had a physical or their physical is out of date, you will have to complete this step before registering.

Participation Fee: $100 per sport. Students also must join ASB ($25 annual fee). Need financial assistance? Participation fees are waived for students enrolled in free & reduced meals and/or the College Bound Scholarship program. Complete the online form to give parental consent to receive financial assistance for extracurricular activities.

Transportation: One-way buses will be available for away games. Parents will need to arrange for transportation home or indicate other parents who may drive your student when you signup for sports at the link above.  Additionally, an activity bus that leaves CKMS at 4:40 p.m. will take athletes to CVES (arriving at 4:57 p.m.) and TRES (arriving at 5:01 p.m.) after practice.

Practices:  Practices are held Monday-Thursday from 2:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.- no practice on Friday.
