Key Dates for Eighth Graders
This page will be updated with specific dates as they are finalized for eighth-grade events.
January 1: Eighth Grade Baby/Toddler Photos due (spots are all full)
February 25: Eighth Grade Class Photo
March 9: High School Presentation with MSHS Counselors (in social studies class)
March 11: Eighth grade students will review the Skyward login process during Advisory so they can access and complete their registration.
March 13: MSHS Registration opens
March 16-17: Time in Advisory classes for registration. Middle school counselors will be available in the library to assist students with registration.
March 18: Rescheduled Wildcat Night/Future Freshman Night at 6 p.m. at MSHS
March 24: MSHS Registration closes
Notes regarding registration:
Students may register anytime from March 13–24. There is no priority or advantage to registering earlier on March 13 versus later in the week. All students will have equal access to course selection during this window.
June 9: Eighth Grade Field Trip
June 10: Eighth Grade Promotion Assembly in the CKMS Gym 1-2:30 p.m.
